A Brief Overview of the First INTERSECT Advisory Board Meeting

On Monday 21 March 2022, the first meeting of the INTERSECT Advisory Board and the extended
INTERSECT Management Team took place. Although it was a virtual meeting, it was very lively and constructive.

After a round of introductions of the members of the Advisory Board, the various R&D related Work Packages were introduced by the respective Work Package Leaders followed by a short discussion on the goals and plans of that Work Package. After the presentations of the various Work Packages, there was a discussion on what we should still change to the R&D program to be able to achieve the envisage societal impact as well as an opportunity
for the members of the Advisory Board to provide any other recommendations.

Overall, the consortium received a lot of useful suggestions and advices to further improve the likely impact of the project, and it will continue working closely with the Advisory Board and in line with the set NWO priorities. A big “Thank you” to all the members of the advisory board for their time and inputs to the INTERSECT project!
