Final program of INTERSCT.23 now available!

Everything is now ready for the annual event of the INTERSCT consortium, namely, INTERSCT.23.

The event will take place at the New Babylon Hotel of Den Haag on the 23rd of May, 2023, starting from 08:30 AM.

This year, we will host two keynote speakers, i.e., Ross Anderson and Julie Haney.

Professor Ross Anderson is professor of Security Engineering at the Computer Laboratory of the University of Cambridge, and a fellow of the Royal Society, the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, and the Institute of Physics. He also chairs the Foundation for Information Policy Research, the UK’s leading Internet policy think tank, which he helped set up in 1998. Current research topics include: economics and psychology of information security – including security and human behavior, reliability of security systems, robustness of cryptographic protocols, analysis and design of cryptographic algorithms, information hiding, security of clinical information systems and privacy and freedom issues.

Dr. Julie Haney is a computer scientist and lead for the Usable Cybersecurity program in the Visualization and Usability Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). She conducts research about human factors of cybersecurity, including the usability and adoption of security solutions and people’s perceptions of privacy and security. Previously she spent over 20 years working in the U.S. Department of Defense as a security professional and technical leader primarily in the cyber defense mission. She has a PhD and M.S. in Human-Centered Computing from University of Maryland, Baltimore County, an M.S. in Computer Science from University of Maryland, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Loyola University Maryland.

We will also feature a panel discussion, involving the following speakers:
