Meet the Speakers: INTERSECT 2022 with Martijn Meijers from the Dutch Radiocommunications Agency

On May 19, 2022, the 2022 Edition of the INTERSCT. Conference on cyber security of Internet-of-Things will take place in Enschede, NL.

The event will feature many Keynote presentations by several speakers. In this third post of our series about the speakers, we introduce Martijn Meijers, the Head of department Spectrum management and Deputy director of the Dutch Radiocommunications Agency.

Martijn Meijers (1970), M. Sc. in Economics, previously worked at the Dutch Authority for Consumers & Markets and one of its predecessors, the Independent Postal and Telecommunications Authority. Before that, Martijn worked at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Waterworks.

Since September 2017 he is head of department of Spectrum management at the Dutch Radiocommunications Agency, as well as deputy director. Within the agency, Martijn heads the National Cybersecurity Certification Authority and is responsible for the program on cybersecure IoT. Martijn lives and works in Groningen, in the north of the Netherlands.
