The researcher Savio Sciancalepore joins the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) as an Assistant Professor, where he will work with the INTERSCT as a member of the Security Group (SEC). Before joining Tu/e, he was a post-doctoral researcher at HBKU-CSE-ICT, at Doha, Qatar. He received his master degree in Telecommunications Engineering in 2013 and the PhD in 2017 in Electric and Information Engineering, both from the Politecnico di Bari, Italy. He received the prestigious award from the ERCIM Security, Trust, and Management (STM) Working Group for the best Ph.D. Thesis in Information and Network Security in 2018. His major research interests include network security issues in heterogeneous Internet of Things (IoT) systems and Cyber-Physical Systems.
