Highlights from the INTERSCT.2022 Workshop at VU

On the 29th of September, the INTERSCT consortium had its second yearly meeting at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam.

The event, named INTERSECT2022 Workshop, was restricted to the members of the consortium only, and it tackled two dedicated key application areas around Internet of Things (IoT) security. Namely, smart health & smart energy.

In the morning, the consortium discussed about smart health, featuring an invited talk from Maarten Bodlaender, Head of Cyber Security Services at Philips.

In the afternoon, the focus was on smart energy, and featured an invited talk by Paul Van der Zee from Agentschap Telecom, who actively investigate the security of industrial and commercial IoT devices.

Approximately 35 participants took part in this meeting between Industry and University, and each member of the consortium provided presentations showcasing the current activities within INTERSECT, the future plans, and possibility for future collaborations in the consortium.
