On May 19, 2022, the 2022 Edition of the INTERSCT. Conference on cyber security of Internet-of-Things will take place in Enschede, NL.
The event will feature many Keynote presentations by several speakers. The first one we introduce is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) from Avast, Jaya Baloo. Below you can find her short profile.
Jaya Baloo won the Cyber Security Executive of the year award in 2015. She was also named as one of the top CISO’s in 2017, in a list with only 9 other women, and featured at the 100 Women Founders in Europe To Follow in 2018 by Forbes. She has worked in the cybersecurity area for nearly 20 years, being part of other security champions, such as KPN International Consultancy and Verizon. She was also in the past the chairman of the Dutch Continuity Board.
She currently holds a position of Vice Chair of the Quantum Flagship Strategic Advisory Board of the EU Commission and a faculty position at the Singularity University.
