Rutger Leukfeldt (NSCR) appointed Chair in Governing Cybercrime at two Faculties

Rutger Leukfeldt, member of INTERSCT through the NSCR, has been appointed endowed Professor of Governing Cybercrime at the faculties of Governance and Global Affairs (FGGA) and Leiden Law School. Rutger has been conducting research on how digitalisation affects crime for several years now, with specific emphasis on how criminals commit their crimes, what that crimes look like, how someone becomes a victim, and finally, how best to tackle existing and new types of crime— all topics strictly connected to the WP4 of INTERSECT.

We congratulate Rutger with its new role and invite interested readers to refer to the external page here for more information.
